Bomba Latina is a fast, nervy word game to play online with friends. A virtual bomb passes from player to player, and a syllable appears in the middle (for example "OUR"). On your turn, you must type a real word that contains that syllable — anywhere in the word — before the bomb explodes.

Each player has three lives. Too slow? The bomb blows up and you lose a life. Running out of ideas under pressure is exactly where it gets funny. The last player alive wins. Bonus: use every letter of the alphabet across your words to earn an extra life.

It's the perfect party game when you want something simple to grasp but hard to master, that works just as well with two players as with ten.

How to play

  2. 2On your turn, type a word containing the shown syllable, then submit.
  3. 3Be quick: if time runs out, the bomb explodes and you lose a life.
  4. 4The last player still alive wins the game.
